COMPANY OVERVIEW

Cowitch Investments is a limited company domiciled in Kenya and was incorporated under the Companies Act (Cap. 486) on 30 April 2014 after being in operation since April 2013 under Business name as Cowitch Investments.
We are a vibrant and growth-oriented construction and facilities management business venture geared towards creating an optimal environment for the organization’s primary functions. As well as providing creativity and professionalism in the built environment.
The aim is to offer support to the organization’s core business in built environment and construction solutions to individuals and organizations.
We have not had any legal tussle with any of our clients since we have always completed our work within the stipulated contract terms as required.

QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT
Cowitch Investments Ltd. is a construction and facilities management company that specializes in the provision of construction, maintenance and related services to its clients, whilst maintaining the highest ethical, safety, environmental and professional standards.
The management has defined and documented the following commitment with respect to quality. Every staff member has the responsibility to ensure that the intentions of this policy statement are understood, applied and maintained within their own activity area. Cowitch Investments Ltd. has made commitment:
- To provide our services in compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and other obligations that we have subscribed to.
- To develop, maintain and continually improve our quality management system in conformance to ISO 9001:2015 requirements and to have in place the processes needed to produce a level of construction and project management of a consistent standard of quality and at competitive cost.

Management has the ultimate responsibility to maintain the quality policy and shall promote all initiatives to attain and improve quality by:
- Giving all personnel adequate information and training to enable all tasks to be undertaken with a consistent standard of quality.
- Ensuring confidentiality of client data and that the records held by Cowitch are never transferred to third parties without full consent of affected parties.
This policy provides a framework for setting our quality objectives, hence shall be openly communicated, understood, applied within the organization and made available to our stakeholders. It shall be maintained and reviewed annually to ensure its continuing suitability.
INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY STATEMENT
Cowitch Investments Ltd. is committed to delivering quality to our customers, protecting and promoting the health and safety of all its stakeholders through the cooperative efforts of all employees, subcontractors, suppliers, visitors and anyone else that may be affected by our construction and facilities management activities.
The company shall endeavor to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and to develop a positive safety and health culture within its operations. Our approach to safety management ensures that all personnel have the authority to act where sufficient hazards exist, including the right to stop unsafe work or activities in order to protect our stakeholders and/ the public.
The management has defined and documented the following commitment with respect to quality, health and safety:
- Having and continually improving an integrated management system based on ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018, with the aim of delivering quality & achieving zero accidents, incidents or occupational illnesses.
- Compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and other applicable obligations.
- Training employees on quality, health and safety to constantly aim to improve the overall quality of company products and services and to perform their job safely and
- Availing and maintaining machines, equipment and tools that enable tasks to be carried out safely.
- Continuous risk assessments of our work activities and ensure operation according to the procedures that best promote quality, health and safety at work.
- Setting realistic objectives and targets through internal audit and management review.
- Establishment of a comprehensive quality, health and safety programs, procedures, and reporting systems which provides framework in the integration of quality and safety into our daily operations.
- Ensuring all incidents/ near misses are investigated and lessons learned shared within the organization;
- To deliver quality services & products in accordance with the specifications and requirements of our clients, within reasonable timeframe and on agreed budget plan.

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT
Cowitch Investments Ltd. is committed to protecting and promoting the health and safety of all its stakeholders through the cooperative efforts of all employees, subcontractors, suppliers, visitors and anyone else that may be affected by our construction and facilities management activities.
The company shall endeavor to develop a positive safety and health culture within its operations. Our approach to safety management ensures that all personnel have the authority to act where sufficient hazards exist, including the right to stop unsafe work or activities in order to protect our stakeholders and/ the public.
Our strategies are aligned to the company safety slogan: ‘Safe Work, Better Lives’, and thus we are committed to:
- Having and continually improving a high-quality OH&S management system based on ISO 45001:2018, with the aim of achieving zero accidents, incidents or occupational illnesses.
- Complying with the OSHA 2007 and all applicable safety & health
- Training employees on health and safety to perform their job safely and
- Provision of appropriate PPE’s (personal protective equipment) and instruction on its use, where exposure to hazards cannot be prevented by any other means.
- Availing and maintaining machines, equipment and tools that enable tasks to be carried out safely.
- Maintaining housekeeping in all our premises and suitable welfare facilities at

- Ensuring arrangements to obtain first aid services, effective injury management and rehabilitation is provided to all employees.

The management recognizes safety is vital to the interests of the business and shall therefore endeavor to visibly uphold the principles of this policy throughout its operations. Accountability for compliance to this policy rests with all employees, subcontractors, suppliers and anyone who carries out work on behalf of and/or under instructions from us and hence the policy shall be openly communicated, understood, applied within the organization and made available to our stakeholders.
The Managing Director shall oversee an annual review of this policy and associated procedures to ensure their continued effectiveness. Where necessary to ensure legal compliance and promote continuous improvement, this policy and associated procedures shall be amended and communicated to all relevant persons.
